Design challenge
ROLE: UX/UI DESIGNER
PRODUCT: FICTITIOUS PRODUCT PAGE (TECHNICAL TEST)
PERIOD: 2023
SUMMARY
This project was part of a 2-day technical test during a hiring process.
The goal was to assess my skills as a UX/UI Designer by creating a transactional product page for a fictitious brand in the e-commerce sector.
THE CHALLENGE
Design a product page from scratch in just 48 hours:
- Create a fictitious brand with visual identity, tone of voice, and value proposition.
- Define a user persona to guide design decisions and feature prioritization.
- Design the full flow: structure, content hierarchy, and visual proposal for desktop.
- Show the complete process: from wireframes to high-fidelity visuals in Figma.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rapid design of a coherent visual system for the proposal.
- Creation of a user persona and a clear, distinctive brand narrative.
- Benchmarking of fashion and accessories e-commerce references.
- Prioritization of key page elements (images, technical details, shipping info, and above-the-fold CTAs).
- Agile execution in Figma: wireframes plus final visual design.
KEY LEARNINGS
- Under tight deadlines, clear prioritization is critical: what to show, how, and when.
- Designing under pressure requires fast, well-reasoned decisions without losing visual coherence or user focus.
- The exercise sharpened my ability to present an end-to-end design process in a structured, clear way with visual storytelling.
